Simple process. Zero emissions.

A single sterilization cycle is used for all compatible instruments. Once instruments are loaded into the sterilization chamber, simply press start to begin the process.

Air Plasma Sterilization® consists of the following 3 steps:

PRECONDITIONING

Air temperature, pressure, and humidity are optimized inside the sterilization chamber for reliable and repeatable performance.

15 to 20 minutes

STERILIZING

Preconditioned air is converted by plasma into reactive oxygen and nitrogen species that rapidly kill microorganisms on instrument surfaces.

3 hours

VENTILATING

Sterilant gases are pumped through a catalyst and adsorbent material that converts the gas back into harmless breathable air.

45 minutes

Preconditioning time varies based on relative humidity, temperature, and atmospheric pressure.

Less hassle. More benefits.

The V10 Air Plasma Sterilizer uses just air and electricity to safely and easily sterilize critical veterinary instruments at least 3 times faster than ethylene oxide, increasing productivity and throughput.

LOW TEMPERATURE

Heat-sensitive instruments will not be damaged

LOW PRESSURE

Even the most delicate instruments can be sterilized without damage

LOW COST PER CYCLE

Only $3 to $5 per cycle

LOW MAINTENANCE

Only 1 minute of maintenance after every 15 sterilization cycles

NO INSTALLATION COSTS

No exterior ventilation is required

BROAD COMPATIBILITY

Compatible with most medical plastics, elastomers, and metals

NO HARMFUL BYPRODUCTS

Sterilant gases are converted back into air after sterilization

NO CHEMICAL CONSUMABLES

Air and electricity are the only inputs

LOW POWER

Requires about one-fourth the power of a similarly sized steam autoclave

Fewer consumables. Higher productivity.

Each consumable is easy to replace, has no disposal restrictions, and can be stored indefinitely in the original packaging. The touchscreen will alert the user when it is time to replace a consumable.

DESICCANT

PB_Product_0320_BLE_8786

The desiccant canister is used during the preconditioning step to reduce relative humidity in the sterilization chamber.

Replaced every 50 to 75 cycles

PLASMA SHEET

PB_Sheet_Small

Plasma is produced on the surface of the plasma sheet inside the sterilization chamber, converting air into highly oxidative sterilant gases.

Replaced every 15 cycles

CATALYST

PB_Product_0320_BLE_8788-2

The catalyst canister is used during the ventilation step to convert sterilant gases back into air.

Replaced every 200 cycles

Desiccant life varies based on relative humidity.
